Don't Deny It!

I wanna curl up in the corner. To think away the day. To scream, to cry just to let everyone hear me. I wanna stand in front of a million people and just scream and scream. I wanna run threw the woods like I did when I was little. I wanna jump up and down and break things. So you can get the message.

But wait, that's not all. Or is it?

Parents. They say they understand and that they care. But do they? How do we know? They still haven't saved the kids in the dark. Scared and abusing the word pain. What about teachers? They say they understand too. Now, don't get me wrong, they listen. But do they hear the words? Do they know what we're saying when it comes from our lips? Do their ears hear it and their brains rearrange it? Or do they nod and pretend to know what we saying when they don't hear a thing?

Do you hear it? Shh, listen closely!

People rush through the hallways. Separated into groups. You got your popular people, who divide into groups: Jocks, Acrombie and Finch, and Preps. Then you got your nerds all the smart people who listen in class and get good grades. Next you have your normal people. Everyone with a friend or two but just doesn't fit in. But then you got your outcast, they spilt up into the groups: Freak, Punk, Skater, and then the wall blenders. The popular people think they're better then everyone don't deny it! You can't. They make fun of anyone who isn't them.

What? Can't stand the truth?

After school, you go home. If you have it hard, you hide. Wishing to be anywhere but here. Listening to yells and screams. Trying to pretend nothing is going on. Whimpering sounds, pleas and begging heard. Then you hear the sound of someone of thing hitting the wall. You can hear the cries. But you can't do anything about the pain.

You can look the other way, but it won't go away.

Listen up closely. I'm gonna break this down. Now you better pay attention, I'm only gonna say this once. As soon as you hear what I'm about to say. You'll know it's the truth. So don't say anything, just clap and smile, you don't have to admit it, but don't lie to yourself. Now here's what I'm gonna say to you:

Love while you can, keep your friends close, keep the enemies' closer. Don't look away to long, before you know it they'll be gone. Hug em and let them know you care. So maybe one day you'll be able to say. Now let them know you love em. They won't be there forever. Don't push them away. Except their love it helps the pain.

You don't have to admit it, but don't deny it. You need their love and help too.
