Welcome to the world of Utopia; a world with short-lived humans, strong dwarves, wise elves, enterprising halflings, birdlike avians, curious fairies, warmongering orcs and festering undead. This story started as a role-play between multiple people in a forum on an online game called 'Utopia', but the story itself is quite original. Because of certain circumstances the story may end up being discontinued. Because I have not received their consent I am not posting the e-mails of the people who wrote their particular parts, but each part is signed with the name the player uses. Hope I'm not being too confusing (. I'll now introduce the characters of this story so that you may understand what's going on better.

Sir Pheadrus the rogue: Pheadrus is an elf that has been reincarnated from a human thief; he retains most of his memories and skills from when he was a thief as well as skills from his current life as an elf. As a human he fought against the evil Rivergod to save the world. Pheadrus, I'm told, is the Greek word for wolf.

Lady Morgana the Rogue: An elven mage, she has had a hard life as a commoner who had unusual magical gifts. She was alone most of her life making few real friends, then she fell in love. An incident caused her to lose her memories and most of her magical abilities. She roams the land to discover herself again. (I may post the character history I was given later on)

Lady Hatter the Rogue: An avian who was an acquaintance of Pheadrus when he was human. She has great abilities with a sword, but has little confidence in herself. She is very suspicious of others, especially elves whom betrayed her in the past. She has the unique ability to sense the alignment of others; that is to say if a person is 'good', 'evil' or 'neutral'.

The Great Sir Stonehammer: Called 'The Great' due to his status as a war hero, he and his people have fallen onto hard times. His homeland was utterly decimated by humans, only five hundred of a population that once numbered in the thousands. Of his immediate family only his young daughter survived. He is on a mission for revenge at any cost. Written by me; Artificer Urza

The heroic Sir Foghorn Leghorn: a jovial dwarf and ineffable warrior. Not much is known about him, but he seems to know Morgana quite well and has many practical skills among which is his cooking.

Illianostos the dragon: An ill-tempered dragon that has an intense dislike for most humanoid creatures, elves in particular. Written by The Wise Lady FoOLL, whom I haven't been able to contact recently.

Sir Hawk Wingblade the Warrior: The cousin of Stonehammer, he is a capable warrior but earns his living as a scout and liaison between various provinces. He was most often seen in the elven province of Avalon Falls. He is an easy-going person who is very loyal to his friends. He is a good friend to Morgana unto whom he feels great affection. Emeandor: Human, elf or fairy? At this early stage it is hard to say who or what this is, but we know that there is a strong connection between Emeandor, Pheadrus, Morgana and Hawk Wingblade.

Belialgnosis the demon dragon: Once, eons ago, this dragon helped save the world from he greatest of evils, G'oard, but afterwards a great tragedy happened and he was imprisoned in the bowels of the earth by the New Gods. To this day he remains chained, keeping the darkness close to his heart, madness close to his mind and murderous intentions deep within the recess of his soul. Written by me, Artificer Urza

Streamgoddess: a nurturer, healer and mother to the creatures of this world. She has no other desire than to protect the creatures of this world. Of course, being a mortal there is no way I can discern the nature of the gods.

Rivergod: Your typical 'take over the world and crush the good guys' god, all we know is that he was just recently disposed of by the Streamgoddess's chosen, one of which is Pheadrus.

G'oard: Ultimate ancient evil, lord of the undead and master of general evil chaos, he was sealed in ancient times but now seeks his release and destruction of this world. He uses people by manipulating the darkness and despair that exists within people's hearts and minds.
