Broken dreams shattered on a blood stained floor,
Glass shards sticking to my skin,
Alabaster dolls dancing round in circles,
Children screaming the parents that won't show their faces.

Tears of blood flow down my cheeks,
Silence tearing at my head,
Things thrown 'cross the room,
Can hardly breathe, my chest constrains.

Pull the blanket over my head,
Close my eyes and wish away my life,
Crimson dots on death pale skin,
Sitting here, waiting for someone to die.

Salt poured in open wounds,
Can't take anymore of this.
Bile rising up in my mouth,
And the dolls keep dancing round me.

Screams are getting louder,
And the glass will not be moved.
Broken sobs across the silent night,
Waiting for death to come for me.

Starry lights smile back at me,
Heart shaped boxes hold my secrets,
Yellow unicorns prancing bout my room,
And streaks of blood cover my face.

It's over now, it's all my fault.
The tears were just too much.
Dreams were shot, hearts were shattered,
And now I lay in wait for peace.
