I stand there looking out over a battlefield. It is just one more battle that our side has lost. As I look at the bodies of my countrymen, I can feel rage boiling in my soul, and realize I can't take it anymore. I turn around and begin heading back to the village when I notice the smoke rising over the trees. I begin to run as fast as my body will allow. A few minutes later I arrive in the village and see all my friends and family dead. The only building standing is the dojo that I take martial arts at. When I enter the building I see my sensei lying on the ground barely alive and he says," My dear this." "What is it .it can't be a rune." "Yes my Bright Shield Rune. Take stop their army. Now run before they find you." Without a word the boy ran out of the town. Everything around him was burning, leaving him terrified of what was going to happen next. That's when he ran into a guard sent in to check on the town.
"I found a Pilika"
Pilika walked through the front gate and spoke," Kill may get in the way"
"But is just a boy. Let's leave him." As soon as the guard finished he noticed Pilika holding up her right hand and chanting. When she finished her hand began to glow as a huge lightning bolt hit the guard and the boy. "That should be the end of those two." Pilika waved her hand and all the guards followed her out of the town.

A few hours later the boy began to stir at the sound of a girl yelling from beside him," Someone help. This is about to DIE!" The girl began looking frantically around for the help to come and soon realized it would be impossible for someone to hear her near a burnt down village, but was afraid to interfere with magic. The boy looked up at her with puppy dog eyes and asked," What is your name? I must know before I die." As he spoke the rune on his hand began to glow. The girl realized this and quickly pulled off the cloth rapped around her own hand. "I can heal wait." She held out her hand and reassured the boy with a smile. His body began to glow as the wounds closed up, but didn't fix him enough to leave him on his own. Because of this the girl decided to take him to her home and tend to him. How is this so far?
