Chapter 13 - Day 5

Over the PA system a voice boomed "The Air show will be starting in 5 minutes please make your way to section 3." They were walking and looking at the section signs. They were in section 1. They walked along a path by the woods and passed section 2, and got to 3. It was a big wide open field. Alex picked a spot, a nice shady grassy spot and sat down. Cait sat down right next to him and scooted right up next to him and leaned her head on his shoulder. Alex grinned. He had a surprise for Cait that she didn't know about.

"Caity.." Alex began.

"Hmm..?" She said softly, clinging to his shirt.

"I Have a surprise for yous." He smiled.

"Oh? what is it?" She looked up at him.

"You'll see." he said slyly, and put an arm around Cait and held her tightly. She wondered what the surprise was. She had no clue. Alex knew though. The person she gave her tokens to wasn't actually a frantic mom. The show started. A bunch of jets shot up in the sky. They shot colors of smoke out behind them. They zigged and zagged and made giant colorful shapes and pictures in the sky. The two looked up into the sky in awe. The planes zoomed in and out of the forest alongside the field and up and around into the sky. It was magnificent. It went on for a little while. Then the planes lined up in rows, and people jumped out of them. The opened up parachutes which spelled the hotel name out. It was... pretty cool. As the parachutes glided down, they sprayed giant amounts of silly string all around the field. It landed everywhere in random places like big snake pipes lying all over the field. This was also, pretty cool. Then the planes spelled out "Have a great day" in smoke. Each word a different color. Then all the people that were sitting in the field got up and left. Alex and Cait on the other hand didn't get up. Cait was leaning on Alex's shoulder and he was stroking her arm softly, which made her very content and unaware of her surroundings. Some guy came out of the forest and waved his arms. Alex waved back. Cait regained awareness of her surroundings.

"Why'd you do that?" she asked.

"You'll see." He replied and pointed toward the sky. She looked. A single plane flew up and wrote Alex + Cait 4EVR in the sky in dark black smoke. Cait stared. It looked sooo glorious. Alex held her firmly and beamed. He kneaded his chin into Cait's hair as they watched.

"That was awesome." Cait said smiling after it was over. "But how?..."

"That sign by the tiger one said you can personalize letters in the sky for 50 tokens. So I gave that lady who worked there however many we had left. I'm sure it was at /least/ 60. So, this is what we got! ^_^" Alex explained.

"Oooh... I had no clue O_O" Cait said surprised. "O well." She said softly and she clang to Alex so hard and fast and unexpected that he fell over, with her on top of him. He was surprised by this. He hugged her back, and she closed her eyes in happiness and he turned over on her and had her pinned to the ground. He rubbed his nose against hers aggressively. She cried out "Stoopppp stoooo-hooppp" playfully and tried to push him off but he had her down good. She stuck her tongue out goofily. Alex bit it softly. She laughed.

"When we.. get back to the room we're gunna have little fin arnt we Caity?" Alex said, sounding evil.

"Sure, sure whatever!! Get offfff!" She said. He licked her cheek and got off. She hugged him. They got up and started back toward the hotel.
