“Don’t Leave Behind”

I have accepted the fact that though I am intelligent

There are others much better at simple things.

I have realized that I want too much

And I do too little in return for it.

I have realized that I can’t see everything around me

Even the things that are changing me.

I admit were too many things I let go by

When I knew better.

And for all this, there is one lesson I’ve learned…

It’s better to help those that need you,

Rather than think you have better things to do.

It looks like too much trouble, as they get away

And they fall behind,

But it’s yourself you’re saving in the end.
