Well, this is the "mirror that reflected my soul" that inspired 'Truth in Ink'.

Almost didn't upload this one. I wanted to talk to my friend first before I posted it, but I almost didn't show it to him.

Is it weird that I don't mind having a bunch of strangers read my work, but scared to death of having the people who matter to me know this?

Let Go

Let go
i thought i did
He's not meant for you
as i had hoped
But you still wish
who am i trying to kid?
Just accept the way things are
just learn to cope

Let go
i'm trying
You're not in so deep
or so i say
Like the first time
when i felt like dying
When it almost killed you
i need to forget that day

Let go
maybe if i go numb again
You're stronger than this
or at least i pretend to be
It's not like you're losing him
he'll always be my friend
If not for yourself then do it for him
"if you love something, set it free..."

Let go
i know
Let Go
i will...
NOW
...
eventually
