So high and mighty
Flying in and out of clouds made from happiness
The ones she made herself
Then it happened
Like she always knew it would
Everything ended fell right from the sky
Her tears erased the clouds
That covered all the sadness in her life
She's tried to bring things back
Opening life
But it's all overdue, lost in her strife
How can you stop your heart from breaking
How can you relieve the grief you're making
How can you erase the guilt in your eyes
How can you rise
That cold autumn morning
When the whole world stood still
She whispered to the rising sun
"I'm finally done"
Her grandmother wasn't looking too healthy
Her love life was leaving much to be desired
Her friends were all moving on
And left her trembling by herself
I tried to save her
But nothing worked
Someone had the same problem
And only brought her down
Her soul had been murdered
Nothing left but a body made of tears
How can you stop your heart from breaking
How can you relieve the grief you're making
How can you erase the guilt in your eyes
How can you rise
That cold autumn morning
When the whole world stood still
She whispered to the rising sun
"I'm finally done"
What did she do wrong
Everyone left her side
She had the world to guide her
She had every possibility
Cheerleader who made straight A's
Nobody would have believed it was true
That she could have been so blue
She stopped her heart from breaking
She relieved the grief she was making
She erased the guilt in her eyes
Oh she rose to the sky
On that cold autumn morning
When the whole world stood still
And she whispered to the rising sun
"I'm finally done"

She was brought out of her pain
To rise to a better place
