Goodbye
By: Cheyenne Taylor Age: 12 Issued: June 8, 2003

I've walked the streets and told
Every tale there is to tell
But I think I'm starting my own
Unfortunately, this story hasn't begun so well
You have left the picture and I have said so long
All of our words have been said in one~
Goodbye

Things have changed between us
Nothing's making sense
One day we were happy
Now we're at each other's necks
So tell me what I did wrong
It's not fair to keep me like this
I'm okay with us apart
But give me one last kiss
Goodbye

My bags are packed
And you are grinning wide
I guess your heart is happy
But did you stop to think of mine?
We both said I do
Now you're throwing that away
I guess you got sick of me
Gotta find a new one every day
My heart is afraid to love again
Because you kicked me out the door
I never want to cry like that
Never wanna be down on the floor
I guess that's why you're saying
Goodbye

Things have changed between us
Nothing's making sense
One day we were happy
The next we're at each other's necks
So tell me what I did wrong
It's not fair to keep me like this
I'm okay with us apart
But give me one last kiss
Goodbye

You had me deceived
I thought you loved me too
But I got lost in your eyes
Caught in a wonderful view
I don't know how you did it
It was so unexpected
Suddenly you said
Goodbye

Things have changed between us
Nothing's making sense
One day we were happy
The next we're at each other's necks
So tell me what I did wrong
It's not fair to keep me like this
I'm okay with us apart
But give me one last kiss
Goodbye

Goodbye
