Between the tiny glances Amgel chanced at the captive dragon, he was able to determine one thing- He did not like the way the large beast was looking at him. Not one bit. Amgel had very little experience in reading expressions, but hunger was certainly not new to him... at least, not in the sense that one is hungry. For food. Which lead to one inevitable conclusion: The dragon planned to maim and eat him.

Oh, he knew very well that dragons are no barbarians (after all, they are capable of language at the very least), but then, what exactly did he know? He knew the rumors of violent rages, the whispers about long lost cities burnt to the ground, beautiful damsels whisked away and found charred only days later... He shuddered. He was no beautiful damsel, but could easily imagine being just as flammable.

Slowly, Amgel allowed his hand to fall from the doorknob, having found it hopelessly locked, and turned to look dead on at his unwanted quest. Best not to be rude- those silken threads certainly didn’t appear strong enough to hold those... Amgel stared at the thick thighs held temptingly open by the straps. They looked powerful enough to snap a neck, should anyone decide to venture their head down there...

‘That is the oddest thought I’ve ever come by, if I’ve ever had an odd thought before.’ The elfairy mused reproachfully. Lifting his eyes, he was relieved to find the dragon had not noticed his misplaced eyes. In fact, he balked as he found the slaves eyes quite attached to his own lower elements.

Excuse me! You needn’t be looking at me there, thank you!” Amgel admonished, his face burning. He immediately gave himself a mental kick, but was unable to truly regret his words- he did not want the dragon to be giving such hungry looks to those places. Those were NOT for eating.

“Oh?” The dragon purred, leaning forward as much as the bonds allow. “Where should I look then?”

“I- You needn’t look at me anywhere...” Amgel stutters lamely. “As-as a matter o-of fact... You shall be leaving im-immediately!”

“Will I?” The dragon looked around, mock gasping. “Oh! I see now! I will leap out the window! I am so sure I will be able to fit through those lovely iron bars, which burn my very skin.”

Amgel gulped.

“But... I am afraid you have forgotten one little thing.” A red-eyed glare.

“H-have I?”

“How will you compensate for the humiliation of being dragged from the very skies and outfitted as a slave?” The dragon all but growled. “Do tell me who you are to think your people will get away with kidnapping a Dragonian prince!”

Naginif felt his rage once again surfacing, but pushed it down when he saw the delicate creature before him tremble. As much as he was aching to rip his claws through the closest living being, this particular one had him feeling a completely different ache... one that surpassed his bloodlust’s demand for revenge. Schooling his features into an expression of soft intent, Naginif sought to sooth the elfairy from its terror. “I am sure we may work out a peaceful arrangement... untie me and we will talk.”

“I- I would rather not come... so close.”

Naginif fought the urge to smirk. “Untie me so we may speak equally, or I will break these bindings and be less than forgiving... The weakening drug in my veins will not hold me for long.”

Amgel paled visibly, but nodded. Slowly, he moved to the bed and began to pluck at the tight knots of soft material holding the dragon at bay... He was expecting the worst- Amgel was expecting some sort of attack, but, somehow, the newly freed hand that grabbed him by the neck still came as a complete surprise. Choking slightly, Amgel was pulled up off the floor and over to sprawl on the dragon’s dark chest, face inches from bared teeth. Breathe caught both out of fright and the grip about his throat, Amgel watched the wicked mouth as a deep voice rumbled from its depths.

“I don’t think I liked your hesitation.”
