A/N: A poem I had to write for English class.

Thank You

I really appreciate my freedom you brought.

I’ll never understand the danger you sought.

You made me safe by taking on fire.

You fought for the man some called a liar.

The world is safer now because of you.

Those bullets you fired, and the planes you flew.

You had to kill to save lives.

You helped put an end to the Iraqis cries.

No one will know what you went through.

The things you did, and the things you’ll do.

And I just want to thank you.
