Humanity
Darkness, that's all there was in the beginning of the world and that's all there'll be at the end. Recently I've been thinking about how much humans dependon weapons and destruction to ensure their survival and I wondered, what would happen if one day, those things we depend on so much didn't help. What if a single human being could choose to either save or destroy the human race for all time, what would that person choose?
I have always been the type of person who thinks about the big problems in life more than the little ones, and for that I have always been seen as different. There are other things that make me different from other people too. I like to read more than I like to watch TV, I listen to music from Japan and Korea even thought I don't know how to understand either language, and I'm 16 years old and would rather watch shows like Gravitation, X, and Rurouni Kenshin than watch any pointless unreal reality show that airs on American television.
I have never been popular, I get picked on, yelled at, and shunned all because I think differently from most people, I do things differently. Some people may think that anime is for little kids, but it's not. If I were given the choice to save or destroy the entire human race, myself included, I would destroy them. No animals need us to survive, the Earth would thrive without us. Humans have no reason to exist. We are parasitic creatures that live off of the destruction of our own people and the other creatures of the Earth.
I live in the United States of America, the country that's supposed to represent freedom and equality yet I have seen none of that in the 16 years I've lived here. Everyday the news is filled with new murders, racist acts, and wars. We are a free country only for those who believe in God, are white, and follow every single trend ever set in front of us. There are few places where everyone is considered equal in the United States, but I've never been there. Everyday I'd go to school and the jocks and cheerleaders and "popular" people would pick on the smart, "nerdy" kids because they wore glasses or they were color coordinated or they lived too close to the border of another town or they just thought something different than everyone else.
The human race should never have been created. If there is a God (which I don't think there is) and if he created man in his own image like the Bible says, than that God is a demon, he is the very image of evil. I am not trying to cause trouble, I am not trying to destroy anyone's beliefs, I am simply stating an opinion. I cannot see how anyone could want to worship any being who would create such a destructive creature as a human being and give it a will of its own. We are all mistakes, and one day our existince will destroy every living thing on this planet, including ourselves.
