All of these characters belong to me. So no stealing if you don't want me beating you with my gladiator stick. *Snickers* heh heh..Hope you enjoy, I'm really thinking of this off the top of my head. Did I mention I'm new here? ( these 3 chapters are short because they are introducing the characters.)

Tragedy of Yairden
chapter 1: Yutaka, a firey theif

'Just try and catch me!' a young girl thought as she continued to run down an alley way. She had red hair that was up in a high ponytail, she wore a chain around her neck connecting to a halter top that was black, a shirt tied just around her chest, two belts around her waist and jeans, well sort of one leg of the jeans was cut off at the thigh. She wore long boots with as it seemed never ending laces.

"Get back here you little runt!" a man yelled and was closing in on her.

"Epp.." she picked up the pace and jumped onto a ladder swiftly climbing it leading up to the roof of a building. "Nah!" she said sticking her out her tounge as she started to run to the edge of the building, jumping off and landing on a closewire.

"Hmm..hehe looks like I lost him." she thought as she jumped to the ground. She backed up and bumped into someone.

"Got ya!" he yelled grabbing on to her shoulders.

She grinned. "Oh please be careful with me mister." She flipped up and over him as he gave way and fell onto his back. She, who was free from his gri, jumped on his stomach and smiled.

"Can't catch me!" she said grinning as she ran away around the alley corner.

She walked into the local pub and sat down opening her sack. The place seemed to be buzzing and she was small so she could hide well amoung the people if need be.

"Ah, man, just a bunch of junk!" she sighed drank up her water. She heard some comotion coming from the entrance and decided to sneak out the back way. She took her bag and snuck out he back door and started to run out into the street.

"Ooo...there's a good deal." She thought eyeing a man who was dressed in fine armor and a long silk cape. He was tall and dark looking and seemed to be minding his own business.

"One of those jewels on his armor alone is prolly worth a fortune, I could live on that for years!" she said quietly sneaking up on him. She was just about to reach to get the jewel from his shin guard when a voice startled her.

"Shouldn't you use more stealth young lady?"

She looked up only to see the guard looking down at her.

"Um..well..you see..I...uh.." she began as her words began to run together.

"Enough, little one, your coming with me." Within seconds he threw her over his shoulder and was walking towards the castle.

"I...um...you see.." yutaka continued to mumble unasure of what was about to happen to her.

They were walking for quite sometime and yutaka decided to break the silence.

"Where exactly are you taking me?" she asked looking over her shoulder.

"Why, the castle of course, the king needs to deal with thieves." He said glaring up at her.

"But I'm not a thief, I'm poor and I'm living off bread crusts and dry rice!" she said as she whined sobbing.

"Oh, save it little lady." He said laughing.

"Damn." She moaned crossing her arms impatiently. She sighed and somehow even in the uncomfortable posistion she was in, fell asleep.

"Wake up little one." The man said taking her off his shoulder.

"Will you stop calling me little one you big baffoon, your just as big of a baffoon as the KING IS!" she yelled squirming finally getting her feet on the ground.

"Excuse me young lady?" A voice boomed.

Yutaka spun around. "Ah..your majesty! I..."

"save your pleas." The king said alittle annoyed. "We only need you for one thing."

Yutaka looked around seeing an elf dressed in fine clothing and what seemed like an archer in a long ragged cape with their bow strapped to their shoulder.

"One thing?" Yutaka asked.
