Prologue: Logged On

            It was a dark and stormy night, the year of 3000Z has arrived. A young thirteen-year-old boy ran through the dark alleyways, jumping over obstacles and trying to escape his pursuers. His midnight hair fell over his hazel eyes as he struggled to keep on running. In his right hand was a small silver disk, which he kept a firm grip on. Then a single gunshot had been fired. The boy fell onto the cold, hard ground, the disk fell out of his hand. Then a group of people who looked like government spies surrounded the boy with their guns all pointed down at him.

            “Brother…I’m sorry,” the boy muttered before slipping into unconsciousness. As the men took the boy away the silver disk remained hidden in garbage. It was safe, for now…
