Author's note: Yet ANOTHER poem, man I'm on a roll lol. This one I wrote when thinking about my crush about a week ago. I was a bit meloncholic then too. Hmm.. I'm starting to notice a trend here lol.

Till You're In Love With Me

Sometimes I feel
People are laughing
Saying "oh, she's
Just a silly little girl
With a crush"

I shake me head & grin
Knowing they'll never understand
How I feel for him

When he walks by
I start feelin' nervous
And actin' like a fool

It takes all my courage
To just say hello to him

I watch as he
Talks with his friends
Dreamin' that one day
We would become that close

Hearing half imagined laughter
And whispers of
"Silly little girl with a crush"

I grin, knowing
That they'll never understand
What I feel for him

Watching longingly
After him, in a quiet
Voice I whisper

"I'll keep dreaming of us together
Which is just how it should be
But I'm keeping my
Love for you a secret
'Till you're in love with me"
