Author's note: Yet ANOTHER poem for my crush. I don't like this one as much as I like "Till You're In Love With Me." I was listening to Avril Lavigne's "Things I'll Never Say"when I wrote this.

Autumn's Sad Good-bye

I sit and watch,

Too shy to speak to you
Yet wanting to hear
Your voice, to see your face

I watch your friends
talk to you and
I've wished I
Was one of them

Waiting for the cold
Depths of winter
To pass, for spring,
Summer and sun to come
Wishing I was with you

You make me feel so nervous,
Will you see through
My foolish act?
I'm trying to be perfect,
To get you to notice me

Drawing up my courage,
Trying to talk to you at last
In the vain hope that we will
Start walking down
The road of friendship

Yet-
As you walk by,
I shake my head as doubts consume
Resigning myself to quick glances

Can you sense the
Longing in my eyes?
Trying to capture the
Moment in memory
Before autumn's sad good-bye
Fades it away....
