Ah, long time since I've posted here. Sorry. *sheepish grin* But the good news is that I have lots of new poems for you! Starting with this one, which I've fallen completely in love with. I've been writing quite a few poems with slash pairings. Such a romantic. ^.^ Anyway, go ahead and read. Tell me if you pick up any hidden meanings.

stop caring
you don't need to be concerned with what they think
they, you ask?
them, i correct
grammar is important
and something so wrong
should feel dishonest, shouldn't it?
but it feels so right
maybe it's only wrong in their eyes?
their probing stares
give you the shivers
wear my hair around your shoulders
like a winter scarf
it'll keep you warm
and protect you from the cold
but it is only july, you say
i laugh at your naiveté
there are different kinds of cold
and i can protect you
with my "empty hand"
and roundhouse feet
approximately, i believe
maybe if you could see
too bad the fringe
from your hair covers your eyes
but you're so cute
with your childlike innocence
and love is much too complicated
for you to understand
maybe when you're older
but now, i shall tuck you into bed
and tell you a tale
of a king who fell for a prince
and a jealous princess
and the gossiping townsfolk
but in the end, it turns out well
for all fairy tales have happy endings
ah, if only we were fairies...
