------------ Inspired by the tale of Camelot.

The moon is bright,
The sky so clear,
The ocean, the forest are so near,
A lone knight rides down to Camelot.
The fire burns, burns away,
As his black horse rides away,
Through the night, down the road,
Through the gates of mighty gold.
Down the alley, to the castle.
To the round table, to the king,
To dear Guinevere, Camelot's queen.
The passion, the love, secrets lie,
The fire burns, burns till nigh.
The queen and the mighty knight,
Kiss on, on into the darkness of night.
King Arthur, Camelot's great king,
Finds Guinevere's gold ring,
Dull, scratched, and now no shine,
"Where is this lasy of mine?"
Searching through the castle doors,
Through the rooms, through the floors.
And find what may - Lancelot and the queen,
The fire still burned but the king had seen.
While the sun is up,
the grass is green,
Stands Camelot's still great queen.
Tied to a stake, hands all bound,
Lancelot rode his horse to where the queen was found.
Hands untied, riding on the horse,
Follows a battle with great force.
Lancelot leaves the great castle to meet with fate.
Down the alley, through the gate.
Down the rtoad with a light to lead,
Rides a brave knight on a war born steed.
The moon is full, the sky is bright, The knight rides on, out of sight.
And until the sun is up, until it is high, The fire burns, burns until nigh.
