Akurei-Shinzo: Here is one of my favorite stories! I loved writing this one, except now I have to type it all…Oh well, please R&R!
Prologue to Death
Inside a small hospital room there was a woman, who lay weakly on the bed. Beside her were a heart monitor and a thirteen-year old boy that sat next to her in a chair looking very worried. He had dark raven colored hair and possessed strange sapphire, but silver eyes. It was a strange combination for an eye-color.
“Takashi,” mumbled the woman weakly, she stretched out a withered hand into the air hoping she would find her son.
Takashi reached out for her hand immediately. He knew that his mother was already weak; he could not afford her to lose more of her strength.
“Mother,” he said. “Please don’t talk. Save your strength.”
“I’m sorry,” she muttered weakly. “That I can’t always be by you side…”
“Please don’t say that! Mother!”
The line shone on the heart monitor slowed into a long endless beep. The boy let go of the hand, letting it fall onto the bed. The doctor came in and put a hand on the boy’s shoulder. After a moment of silence the doctor left Takashi alone.
After a few more minutes Takashi slowly stood up and went for the door. His hand reached for the light switch, but before he turned the lights off he looked at his mother one last time. Then he turned off the light and closed the door. Out of the floor came a young girl, she was about Takashi’s age but appeared to be a ghost. She had violet hair and diamond like eyes. She stared at the door, which Takashi had just left through. Could he be the one?
Akurei-Shinzo: Hoped you liked it! Bye!
