Cypress Grove, New Jersey is an ordinary suburban community. It is very similar to all the towns that have ever been in a scary movie or video game. It has it’s own shopping mall, hospital, police station, town hall, courthouse, a few supermarkets, a spattering of smaller boutiques, and a lot of middle class homes lined up on streets with basic names like Maple Lane and Main Street. It’s the kind of place where everyone respects their town, and lives in it happily. Of course, the town has its fair share of crimes, but nothing worse than a couple burglaries, and just recently, a murder spree.
Alexander Fenton was born and raised in Cypress Grove, left the town to attend college and medical school, then returned years later to serve as a doctor in the town’s hospital. His childhood was plagued with misery: at a very young age he lost his parents in a car accident, and was forced to live with his aunt, Rebecca Fenton. Rebecca abused Alex, both sexually and physically, and caused him severe psychological trauma. When Alex reached an age where he could recognize what was being done to him was wrong, he reported his aunt to the authorities, and she was locked away in a local prison, just outside Cypress Grove. Alex was then tossed between random foster families; all that didn’t want to keep him too long because of his massive therapy bills.
At 18, Alex left the town and got a job in a factory, producing oil and jet fuel for a major petroleum company. After a year working there, Alex left and applied to a state university, getting a job on campus while attending the school. After the years of working, school, and therapy, Alex emerged with a degree in medicine and a new lease on life. He moved back to Cypress Grove and got a job as surgeon in the local hospital, making a handsome living for himself over the next few years.
This brings us to our story. From what Alex’s journal says, a deadly virus has been released onto the town, transforming its inhabitants into vicious and violent creatures that roam the town during the night, killing everything in sight. Why and how this virus was released remains to be seen, but remain sure that it will be well worth the wait I’m gunna put you through to read the whole story.
Now for the sad part, I already know how this story is going to end. But, before you shoot me, I don’t know how I want to bring Alex there. So there could be another twenty chapters in the series, ok? Wait... is that even a good thing? Oo;;.
Expect more updates, more frequently to ALL my work. Also, expect some poetry I wrote. People say it’s good...I wonder? Love to all... I apologize it took this long just for this. Reviews are always welcome!
