How many more?
By Chelsea Halford.

A child sits alone,
She tries and tries,
To combat silent tears.
She huddles in the corner
Crying alone,
No daddy to save her
From the boogieman.
No kisses goodnight,
No more "last story",
Just an empty feeling.
Finally the sobs are replaced,
By a soft snoring of an angel.
An angel, a victim,
Of a thoughtless war.
