Goodbyes From a Dream Cloud

Feeling the rain against my face

Like ghosts of tears that haunt this place

Abandoned dreams prepared for flight

Now wash away into the night

Lonesome days that strangle hope

That make invitations of hanging rope

Are turned to whispers, lost in the air

Outside the depths of my distant stare

Goodbye, from a dream cloud

Farewell, my eternal frown

Goodbye, from my dream cloud

I’m never coming down

A breaking point is my own boundary

Beyond the door lies a rage and fury

Beckoning for its liberation

I’m leaving it all in my imagination.

A callus heart would bring me relief

Without a care about heartache or grief

Instead I’m alone in my sleepless night

Crying in silence, I’ll turn off the light

Goodbye, from a dream cloud

Farewell, my eternal frown

Goodbye, from my dream cloud

I’m never coming down
