Come, unbind your wings with me
Let us both spread them far and wide
To fly away from this dull reality
Across Earth's drab concrete face
And its gleaming skyline.
Unseal the bonds and glide away with me
With a wild, unfettered soul.
To a lonely land where gleaming pinnacles arise
Each crowned with a cap of pure ice
Where wild winds sweep us over a lonely land
Of golden deserts and emerald jungles
Unseen by any human eye
Unspoiled by Man's metal touch.
We'll plunge down to the heart of a shimmering ocean
And emerge again from the murky depths.
Soar straight towards a blazing orb
And yet not a feather in our wings
Be charred or burnt at all.
We'll fly across a misty sunrise
And through the fiery wings of sunset.
The gleaming stripes of colour
Will be our heavenly arch across the skies.
And below is our domain.
Great miracles here you and I will work
With souls free and unfettered.
No earthly restraint can hold us back
From this lonely world of dreams
Which awaits us somewhere hidden at the back
Of secret, vaulted thoughts.
So close your eye to the world of Man
And open your mind to our fantasy.
Unleash your spirit chained by routines
Let it joyfully surge with freedom's call.
Even now icy mountains and swirling seas
Lift their voices in a single chant of unity
To floy away with unfettered souls.
