To put it simply, it was a rather
stunning night. Moonlight, you'd gather,
but instead: ice, wind, and bitter cold.
Things you should hate, or so I'm told,
things that make up a negative connotation
in poetry. What did I find? Inspiration
to hold you tighter in my arms. Those
lanky things that go to lengths expose
an embrace could only be meant for you.
My affinity: Time and time, through and through.
The streets of a suburban town no longer
seem genuine. With you, I am stronger,
true, and my feelings undeniable.
Me and you. This is irrefutable.

With you, it is the world that I suppress,
through devotion, love, and righteousness.
