A/N:I wrote this a few days ago, it's about how my parents don't like one of my friends, how I'm not sure if I can trust this particular friend and my feeling guilty whenever this friend proclaims that I'm their "best friend, the only one who's ever been there." So yea, it's complicated.

Bitter Confusion

Tired of all these lies,
I'm being pulled in every direction
Hearing in bitter voices
My parent's "advice",
warning me to stay away

I'm confused, not knowing
If the friendship's made up
Of truth or lies
Don't know if my friend's
Wearing a painful disguise

Disagreements and
stupid choices
Is what she's caused
And chosen

Hearing, echoing smug
Cries of my parent's advice
Feelin' guilty at the trust
She's shown me, so confused
If our friendship's real

Not knowing where to turn
Or who to trust
I must make it alone,
Waiting to see who'll be
The winner in this twisted,
Confusing game of trust,
Deceit and lies
Who can I trust to advise me
In this confusing game of friendship
