You are my friend, my sister, my life,
You help me now and with my strife.
Your hand I hold, when you are blue,
And when I’m sad, I turn to you.

I stand here now to catch your tears,
And keep you safe from all your fears.
I am there to hold your hand,
And listen close to understand.

When life is horrid, and getting you down,
When your eyes are swollen and you wear a frown.
You must remember and not forget,
That your path is chosen, your future set.

I take you hand, to keep, to hold,
When, in your world, it’s grown so cold.
Into your eyes, I will stand and gaze,
I will love you now, and for always.
