There are times in my life,
That nothing I do goes well.
All the pain and all the strife,
Sinks me into my shell.

But when it's a beautiful day,
And there are no exams in the way.
My lips turn into a smile,
Though it only lasts for a while.

For when everything for me goes right,
There are still others who have to fight.
To think that every minute, of every hour,
People are killing others just for power.

I am not against religion or war,
But what good is the blood that they pour,
Into the seas and the lakes,
Is it just for our sakes?

Why does the god that we love,
Who is from heaven above,
Can just sit there and observe,
The killing of those,
Who are willing to serve?
