Rotten to the core

Thorns of a rose

13 faces

psychotic episodes

filtered sun

blackened souls

screaming ghosts

empty holes

bleeding hearts

black tears

black eyes

green fears

snake bites

poison oak

decayed roads

no joke

so sound

fire smoke

see the blood

cruel joke

with all the Earth's great people

the ugliness takes wing

but past the happy exterior

lay the world's most beautiful things
