The cold air blew in the dark atmosphere as a figure roared down the paved street. It was a dark figure, which was black and metallic. Sitting on the motorcycle was a man with a field of black thorns on his head, an eyebrow piercing, gold and crimson eyes, bushy eyebrows, sharp fangs and wearing a trench coat. He wore a golden talisman around his neck, which was in the shape of a wolf howling into the moon.

The true name of this orphan is unknown, but this twenty-six year old male goes by the name Trevor. By day, Trevor is a convenience store clerk in a small town in New Jersey called Elizabeth. But by night, it is a totally different story. Trevor is a werewolf, a werewolf who is able to control his powers for justice. He doesn’t go by the name Trevor during the night; his name when the moon rises is Wolfbang.

Sitting behind him was another man, who had a jungle of blonde spikes on his head, several ear piercing on his ears, pearly white fangs and was wearing a black t-shirt with a pair of black shorts.

His name is Derek; he was murdered at the age of twenty-seven, and three days later, rose back from the dead into a creature of the night. He fights along with Wolfbang, protecting the peace with his skills and ways of being a vampire.

The motorcycle stopped as Derek and Wolfbang hop off. Thank God Lilith was here, Wolfbang thought, if not, I’d never get this motorcycle. Memories of his old nemesis, Lilith flashed through Wolfbang’s mind. Lilith was a werewolf who later became a vampire. She fought Wolfbang till the death and was responsible for Derek’s transformation into becoming a vampire.

“Why’d you stop?” Derek asked Wolfbang.

“This is where they usually meet.” Wolfbang replied.

“The Bloods?”

“Yeah.”

“God, me and you, werewolf and vampire heroes, reduced to nothing but weak gang members.”

“Yeah, but would you rather be fighting vampires?”

“Well, it shouldn’t be too hard, I mean I know what it’s like.”

“Yeah, I guess so. But gang members are strong compared to normal people.”

“Yeah, but you know–”

“No! I win!”

“Wait a minute, how do you win?”

“Because I win!”

“This doesn’t make any sense.”

“Sure. I win still.”

“You don’t win.”

“Yes, I win.”

“Fine you win, score one to zip.”

“Ha, loser.”

“Yeah I guess so.”

Wonder what Eve is doing, Wolfbang thought, Maybe she’s sleeping. But then again, when does Eve ever sleep. Last time Eve slept was like…a week ago, and she usually gets like four hours of sleep anyway.

A young woman lied in front of a notebook. She held a pen and was scribbling drawings onto the pages. This woman had black hair, which faded into red strands onto her shoulders. She was wearing a small t-shirt, plaid pants and a pair of white socks. Her wrists were covered with bracelets and she wrote on the notebook.

This woman’s childhood was brutal. Her mother died in a car accident when she was only two years old, her father was murdered when she was ten and she has been living with two unfaithful foster parents. When she was nineteen, she was kicked out of college for not paying tuition, and she is currently wanted for murder. Her name is Eve. She is a Wiccan, a loving and understanding girlfriend and an excellent sharpshooter.

November 29, 2002, Eve wrote down in her notebook, Today Trevor and Derek left to fight some crime. I’m stuck at home with nothing else to do but watch late night TV, surf the Internet and write in this diary. In less than two weeks is mine and Trevor’s one-year anniversary. I have no idea what to get him yet. Whenever I ask, he just answers with the bleak statement of ‘Whatever.’ Whatever isn’t really a specific answer. Nothing seems to please him anymore, which is quite disappointing. Ever since becoming a werewolf, fighting Lilith and running from the law I don’t blame him. Tomorrow is my first day of work. I’m going to be working at some fast food restaurant. They’re all the same to me. I’m trying to save money for a cat. As corny as it may seem, I want a kitty. Well I’m going to try to get some sleep. Night.

“Hey get off me!” A woman yelled as laughing was heard.

“You hear that?” Wolfbang said.

“Yeah,” Derek replied, “Let’s go.” Derek and Wolfbang ran to where a young woman was in an alleyway. Surrounding the woman was five men with red bandanas. Derek put his fingers in his mouth and blew, making a whistle sound echo through the alleyway.

“Hey,” Derek yelled, “leave her alone.”

“Who the hell you think you are?” One of the men said.

“Derek,” Wolfbang said, “let’s get ‘em!” The both ran towards the men. Wolfbang leaped on one, tackling him down to the floor. He punched him repeatedly. Derek ran to another man and rammed into his stomach. Derek flipped the man over his back while Wolfbang leaped to his feet and punch a man behind Derek. Derek turned around and uppercut a man while Wolfbang leaped into the air, spun in a circle with his leg extended and knocked out the final gang member to the floor.

“Thank you.” The woman said.

“No problem.” Derek replied.

“Who are you guys?”

“Just a bunch of vigilantes.” Wolfbang said as he and Derek walked to the motorcycle. The motorcycle roared down the street as the woman watched them leave.
