Broken little doll,
are you lost?
Fallen away from your safe little haven.
You're chipped and you're injured,
but does anybody care?

He loved you once,
he loved you twice.
And third time was supposed to be the charm.
But they stole your soul
and ripped out your heart,
and now you're just an empty shell,
a porcelain corpse of what once was.

Kept on a shelf,
for the masses to admire.
You never loved their glossy eyes and grimey hands,
but at least you felt like you were needed.
They would ooh and aww for days on end,
pretending that they loved you.

You've done your time,
and served your purpose.
He needed more space on his shelf.
So you wandered alone for awhile,
hoping to find your way.
But he doesn't hear you cry,
only an annoying wailing far off in the distance.

Silly girl, what did you expect?
That's the game that the big boys play.
And they'll keep on playing that game,
until you're pushed over the edge.
Until you feel like breaking yourself.
