War, Love, hate, fear

About two characters from The Kathaerodous. A Cute love vignette for
Myotisis. Don't worry, works on it's own, but I had Myotisis in my mind
when I was working on it.

I fight the war inside myself
Every day I wake up and find

I am still here, hating myself
For his love for me that is Blind.
He is beauteous, with eyes that
Shine like a gentle summer mourn,
Hair dark as Midnight, raven black
And a smile as warm as springs dawn.

My love for him burns like bonfires
In the never ending night that
Has become my life. Like furs
That keeps me warm when my faith lacks
That I might live to see the moon
Rise and to see his incandescent
Beauty that makes my pail heart swoon
For he is my Angel, from heaven sent.

He is my hope when I can see none
Captured by those who hate my joy
Who scar and bruise me just for fun
My body, ugly, a prisoner
Of an unknown war, to destroy
What is left of my desire
By making my body bleed for my
Lust, I place myself upon the pyre;
And sweet death takes me in a sigh.

But I fear that my one last pleasure
May be cruelly taken away for
His trust in me, his love and heart pure
And for the way he saw beyond all.
He saw my spirit dancing and danced
To. He saw me crying, and cried to.
He saw my beauty, which others missed,
But most of all he loved me true.

Please read and review. I'm not great at poetry, so please feel free to
give constructive criticism, but don't flame unless you think it is really,
really awful. Thank you, faithfully as ever, Xandra the Blue.
