With the sun waking up
The horizon turns bright
I smile as I walk
Through the warm morning light.
With the wind in my hair,
And the sun at my back,
I have more than I need.
There is nothing I lack!
With the air turning cold,
And the dusk setting in,
I howl with the coyotes
And all of their kin.
With the stars shining bright,
I have nothing to fear.
At peace with the world,
And all I hold dear.
in this instance is said as
'Ki oats' - There are several
ways of saying it, so I thought
I'd clarify which I meant in this
poem.
