~*~*~*~ Okay, well, I'm putting this up as of putting up the beginning of the fourth chapter (fifth, according to the drop-down menu, since it counts the Prologue as a chapter :\) but I figured that I would conform and put up a message just like all the other authors seem to have done. This story has a very complex plot, so I beg of you to stick with it and suffer through the confusion at the beginning and just bear with me. Please, any of you that read this, please PLEASE please put up a review FULL of constructive criticism. I don't want to get big-headed with praise; I want to be told how to fix things that are wrong with this thing, because I'm very aware that it's chock full of mistakes. Any spelling/grammar errors that I have not caught, please e-mail me or leave a review informing me of them so that I can fix them. I've been trying to get this same storyline into shape for five years now, and it still is being crap. But. maybe that's just me. -shrug- Anyway, yeah. Leave a review, and let me know what you thought and any errors you may have caught. Thanks a million for wasting your time reading this extremely large note. ~*~*~*~

.... All Tales Have A Beginning .... She was life and death; love and hate; light and dark; good and evil; peace and chaos; right and wrong. She was everything, and she was nothing. She'd vanished into the sands of time so long ago, forgotten by most. The histories, they claimed her existence, but they were so old now. Older than she, even, and that was a long way back. Only the royal knew the histories now, and none of them took into account so much as a word of it. Myths, legends, tales to scare the children into bed at night. Beware the wicked beast, or she'll come for you. Disobey your mother one more time, and I'll sell you to the beast. She enjoyed their fanciful tales at times, found it fascinating to discover what they'd heard of her and how wrong they truly were. But that came with the job, was unavoidable at best. She was not allowed to linger in their presence for more than a lifetime or so, couldn't really be involved with their affairs. She was what she was, and that was nothing that the humans wanted around. Out of sight was out of mind, and they could forget what they'd done to her brothers and sisters-- but she would never forget. And one day, there would come a time when she could finally get her revenge.
