A Debate

Your Journey on Earth is nearing its end;

Your troubles are deep, but it’s too late to mend.

It’s up for debate, where eternity you’ll spend.

In heaven it’s sweet with the clouds of white,

With angles and doves both lifted in flight.

There’s no need for worries and woes.

It’s the last place you’d find a foe.

But, in Hell it’s hot, dark, dreary, and deep.

The source of the nightmares you get in your sleep.

To the Dark Prince, a minion you’ll be,

Obeying every whim, request and plea.

So, the question has been raised

The message is clear and I hope you appraise

Just reflect on your life and the things you’ve done

You’ve almost lived your life through, and you only

have one

It’s up for debate, where eternity you’ll spend.

Your troubles are deep but it’s too late to mend;

Your journey on earth is nearing its end.
