Spoiled Rotten

I don’t have the newest car on the lot…

I don’t have all the things that are “hot…

I don’t live in a mansion with fifty-five acres…

I don’t really fit in with the “movers-and-shakers”…
I don’t get a home-cooked meal every night…

I don’t have a maid to make my bed just right…

I don’t have all my clothes from Abercrombie and Fitch…

I don’t have someone there to scratch every itch…

I don’t have a computer in my room…

I don’t have someone to manipulate the vacuum…

I don’t get a birthday party every year…

I don’t get the praise that one wants to hear…

I don’t get the credit card when I go out…

I don’t have a person to map out my life’s route…

I don’t get all the CDs and DVDs I want…

I don’t have that much jewelry to flaunt…

I don’t get a new cell phone at every holiday…

I don’t ever receive a fresh flower bouquet…

I get a meager allowance and told to see how far it goes…

But that includes buying all my own music, movies, food, and clothes…

I have my own room, but was told to get my own stuff…

After dishing out my money I really think I have enough….

But I do have a house and a roof over my head…

With blankets and sheets to keep me warm in my bed…

I do have a cat, my closest and quietest friend…

On each other we have learned to depend…

I have my knowledge and faith, and things of that sort…

I have a family and friends, full of love and support…

So yeah…

I’m spoiled rotten!
