Dangerous Place

They tell me not to give it up,

To give it just one more try;

But with all the suffered damages

I think I’ll leave before I die.

I’ve been through all the battles;

I’ve done my very best.

But I can’t take it any longer,

I just can’t pass this life’s test!

I’ve had some traumatic injuries;

I don’t think I’ll ever be the same.

I would tell you all about them,

But I just feel too much shame.

A broken arm, a twisted ankle,

Missing teeth and untied shoes,

A torn shirt and a scraped up knee

A purple eye and a nasty bruise

An itchy case of chicken pox,

A running nose and a sneeze,

Smelling someone’s nasty socks,

Oh God, someone help me please.

I had to sit behind the kid who didn’t shower,

And had all my fingertips glued,

And I threw up several hundred times,

From poisonous cafeteria food.

I don’t know what I did to deserve it

I had follow almost every single rule

I guess I just missed the one that said:

Be careful, there’s nothing more dangerous than school!
