Walking into the most depressing of scenes for Andrea, her English class always

made her angry and unsocial. There was no one in this small-overcrowded room

worth a second look at. no one but her. Sitting next to the window in her usual

seat and staring down at thick book on her desk, Gabrielle was the only excuse

for Andrea not to blow off English all together. She was beautiful today, just

like every other day, in tight black jeans and a gray tank top.

Andrea took her usual seat in back of her, miserably throwing her bag

onto the small practically destroyed desk and sighing to herself in a rather

dejected manner. Everyday this happened just like clockwork. Come in, sit down,

stare helplessly into the most beautiful yet unattainable girl Andrea had ever

met, then get up and leave. Andrea had known for 2 years that she wasn't normal.

She found out at camp before her freshman year when her friend Kelsey kissed

her in their room at the same time coming to terms with their disease. They

both realized that they weren't normal and never will be; they were lesbians.

Now Andrea had done the stupidest thing she could have ever thought up. She

had fallen for a girl in her school. Her whole school was frightfully

homophobic, which was the reason that Andrea had never told her secret to

another soul, besides Kelsey. The homophobia was stemmed from a general fear

of abnormalities and in their eyes, being a lesbian was as abnormal as you

could get. Andrea hadn't just fallen lightly for Gabrielle, no, she had fallen hard

enough to kill. There was nothing she could do but stare and wallow in self-

loathing and the heartbreak she felt day after day.

Andrea had long ago drowned out her bug-like teacher Miss. Kelpton and focused

on her writing. The only thing that brought her out of dark thoughts was her

name being called in a harsh tone.

"Miss. Grimler! Please pay attention! I am giving you the guidelines for your

project. As I said, I will be partnering everyone up with a fellow student to

do this project and it will be due two weeks from Monday."

Sighing Andrea cursed her teacher for assigning them yet another pointless

project. But Andrea couldn't help herself from wondering what complete moron

she would end up being partnered with.

Miss. Kelpton had passed out a batch of papers and had the students pass them

down the rows. Gabrielle turned around smiling at Andrea and placed 3 papers

with entirely too much print on them next to Andrea's left arm.

"Here Andrea," Gabrielle casually said before turning back around in her seat.

Shocked, Andrea looked up at the gray swathed back of the most beautiful girl

in school. Gabrielle talked to her and had turned around to smile at her too,

but Andrea had been too busy writing in her notebook to see it. Mentally kicking herself,

Andrea picked up the papers and shoved them into a random page of her notebook

without even looking at them.

"Miss. Grimler, keep those out I'll be going over them after I give everyone

their assigned partners." Miss. Kelpton's shrill voice buzzed around the room

like the very annoying bug she truly was.

"I can read." Andrea said with a hint of annoyance.

"Miss Grimler! Pay attention." Andrea hadn't even lifted her head and was still

staring at her curvy handwriting but could hear Miss. Kelpton picking something

up and shifting through it.

"Miss Grimler, do you even care who you are paired with?"

"All these morons are equally depressingly dense." Andrea drawled out in a not

interested tone and honestly could care less.

"Hold you tongue Miss. Grimler! You will be partnered with Gabrielle Densite."

Authors Note: Hey ok well this is going to be a short story only a few chapters and the rest will be longer I just thought it was better to end it there. Ok and who was surprised to see them paired up? Honestly! If they weren't it would be very hard for them to talk. And oh yeah if you haven't noticed this is about lesbians. ok I'm going to stop being sarcastic. If you don't like it don't fucking flame because I'll bitch right back at you. I belong to a very active gsa and I my self am Bi. This is dedicated to my friend Ruth who actually helped me with it all. Ruth I love u so! Bye!
