Governed Madness
* * * * * *
Crimson tears of fallen dead,
curling up in silent dread,
pain and hunger pays the score,
as the blood flows out more and more.
Ever screaming in the morrow,
all thoughts are filled with sorrow,
once again green bucks fly,
to set themselves away from the sky.
Thunderous voices command the many,
to strip and to search the rampant enemy,
disgruntled words of unseen reaver,
but all cries were ignored like all the ones before.
Hunger for the blood stained cash,
not worrying that it's smell will give your nose a rash,
or that it was stolen from an under developed nation,
enough of this madness! You wasted my patience!
Screams and shots that will never end,
death shall be waiting for you around the bend,
more and more we kill the many,
those who oppose us are the enemy.
Do you think that we deserve this madness?
How can you tell us what's going on from your high throne?
Day after day it's been the same.
And we soldiers of battle always take the blame.
Can't you see that we are under oath?
To protect, to destroy whomever we are assigned.
Not a life to be taken lightly.
Not a life that calls for freedom without violence.
Governed lies in crucial madness,
Oh what lives have been lost in evanescence,
nothing can save the masses now,
not without voices that can make no sound.
