In school I tried
My best to get attention
But all that resulted
Was a week in detention

I tried to impress my folks
By getting good grades
But with all the F's I got
My smile of hope faded
.
I tried my best
To make some friends
But the teasing
Would never end
.
Then I thought to myself
Why even bother to impress?
Nobody cares
More or less
.
So I left home
With everyone to blame
Let them suffer
Hang their heads in shame
.
They deserve this I thought
As I packed my nap-sack
And as I left
I never looked back
.
Now here I am
Deserted as can be
But now I realize I didn't want them to feel sorry
Just someone to look for me
