This blood upon my hands flows,
From the dagger in my heart.
The blade of deception is in me,
Carving out the light you had sent.
In my mind I hear your voice, a star among the shadows,
Lighting what was once dark and unseeing.
Night has fallen over me, trapping me within it,
I as its prisoner. I as one lost to all life.
Yet in dreams you have come, flying from above,
And you have sung your pure song to me.
Oh blessed angel of death, adored phantom of heaven,
Bind me with you word, your pact, your promise.
This blood upon my hands flows,
From the dagger in my heart.
The blade of deception is in me,
Carving out the light you had sent.
Calling me, calling me through the night,
You bid me welcome to your cold, mindless domain.
You had owned my loyalty, my life, my love,
It was in your grasp, and in return, you cut me down.
Your trust has flown so far away,
Soared high in the air, above all which is living,
And the wind whistles back down with a single message alone
To trust nothing but death itself.
This blood upon my hands flows,
From the dagger in my heart.
The blade of deception is in me,
Carving out the light you had sent.
~Ryuumi. An angst little thing, I know. I actually wrote it as a song, which is why it has the little chorus thing going on. It was made up of a bunch of mindless babbling I sorted together and came out nicely, though It could’ve been longer.
