Sometimes I wish the moon away
As if her glow offended me
Sometimes these dreams take too much faith
But if only you knew how it affected me

Sometimes I wish myself away
As if I live a fairy tale
Sometimes it seems that I could stay
But then I'm too afraid to fail

Sometimes I wish my work away
As if it's done by whistling
But then sometimes I have to pay
For the times I spent dreaming

Sometimes I wish my dreams away
As if I've wished upon a star
To be taken away amongst heaven's displays
But then I'm reminded that I've gone too far...
