The idea for this came from discussing movies with a friend. I've already written three "chapters" even though I intended this to be a one-shot post. The characters and situation seemed to flesh out in my mind as I wrote and I didn't want to stop. I didn't get where I wanted to yet so decided to continue at my own pace, even if it's long and drawn out.

I just started thinking about movies, Hollywood, and what people 'want' from their entertainment experiences. My previous post about Mr. Taylor was inspired by me thinking about chickens, and whether they knew what they were being bred and fed for. If the chickens don't know, how can we be sure we're not missing out on something ourselves?

My desire to write this came about in the same way. I was just wondering about the leading characters in shows and... well... how common everything seems to be. If I decide to continue with this hopefully some of what I think will come out, even if it's blatant and overly non-subtle.
