Blame
By: Cheyenne Taylor Age: 12 Issued: June 16, 2003

You hurt me inside and out
You acted like I was just a piece of ground
I was walked all over
I didn't get a chance to fight
You say I ran away
For no good reason
That I was acting like a two year old
Nothing is ever your fault is it?
Well I'm the one who ends up crying no matter what I do
The tables always turn
And I am thrown aside
And you somehow find a way to blame it on me
You can't stand to be told the truth
Act like you're a poor baby
But you're not
You think that every little thing
Is someone else's problem
But you've got a bigger one
You play the blame game
You have no shame
You think you're the only one
Who anyone should care about
Well I don't give a darn
Because you've hurt me too many times
Now I draw the line
Because this is ridiculous
I can't believe how idiotic
One single person can be
So deceiving
And somehow I'm believing
Because you've gotten so good
I got to snap out of it
I'm not gonna lose to your game
You can't stand to be told the truth
Act like you're a poor baby
But you're not
You think that every little thing
Is someone else's problem
But you've got a bigger one
You play the blame game
You say you've had it rough
That you're whole life is worse than mine
You don't know the half of it
I act myself and people shoot me down
Like you
You say this whole thing is just stupid
That you're mad at me just because
Well who needs enemies with friends like you
I've had it
You're gone
You can't stand to be told the truth
Act like you're a poor baby
But you're not
You think that every little thing
Is someone else's problem
But you've got a bigger one
You play the blame game
You can't stay alive much longer
I think I just won
