I never would have imagined
That things could leave so fast
People come and go
But dreams they last forever
Where did you take them to
Through never ending fields of cotton blossoms
And rolling pink clouds up above
I never could have imagined
How much hurt could come from love
My one refuge is the only place I can hide
So I can finally fall away
From your chaos
Nobody ever realized
Slowly I was becoming faithful
But the things that depressed me most
Were fueling your unblinking happiness
I was blinded by such whispered words
That came from your lips
They deceive and they hurt
But I never even flinched
You made me numb inside
But it all works out in the end
