It's raining again
I'll stay inside my cave
Thunder rocks my brain
It's a good day to behave
Lightning strikes my memory
And brings highlights of you
Sometimes I want to come
And see your point of view
But I'm not sure I want to die
Why'd you have to leave me
Down in the pouring rain
I loved you so much
When you left I was in pain
I know it's not your fault (whispered)
But I need to know you care
Even from way up there
Because you are my angel
Raindrops whisper your name
Hail breaks through the windows in my heart
The wind blew away my tears
'Cause that storm split us apart
You said you would be fine
So I let you go anyways
I had no idea how much I could regret
I blame myself for that day
So I let myself drown
In a mix of acid rain and tears
Maybe I'll see you soon
Maybe it'll take years
But you'll be up there waiting on me
