Hey you! Get over hea'. I need to tell you somethin'. It's about somethin' that happened a long time ago. You see durin' the late twenties, me an' a couple of my buddies had quite a racket goin'. We would hit federal warehouses an' take as many crates of liquor as we could carry, then sell them to a higher up for distribution.

After a few weeks of this we had to lay low for awhile. The feds had already gotten poor Jimmy in our last raid, and had begun to sweep the city lookin' for us. Luckily, Tony had some connections (his uncle was Big Boss Marcone) an' we were able to get a place in Brooklyn. We was makin' a plan to make a raid on a large convoy of confiscated liquors the feds were movin'. The five of us, Tony, Guido, Gino, Dominic, and me Vince, were gonna kill the drivers, and just make off with the trucks loaded full. It would have made us rich. But that's when the space aliens attacked.

We was preparin' to leave our hideout an' rendezvous with the feds trucks, when we heard the screams comin' from outside. Tony thought it was a fed trick, an' grabbed one of the rifles an' began to load it. Me an' Gino grabbed a few of our uh explosive devices an' went up to the roof to defend the little buildin' from police intrusion. That's when the alien zap guns hit Gino an' turned him into a powder.

They was in their space ship an' was shootin' people in the streets. Their ships was shaped like two dinner plates taped together. The aliens was shootin' from a cockpit at the top of the ship. I could see the tops of their ugly faces, so I tossed one of my devices straight into their ship. A few seconds later an' that ship was nothin' more then a fireball in the sky. That's when the second ship zipped down an' began to shoot at me. I leapt down the stairs quick as could be, seconds ahead of their blasted ray guns. "They got Gino!" I shouted down to the others. "Who did?!" yelled back Dominic. "The aliens!" "What do ya mean the ali..." and that's when they blasted through our front door.

Tony already had his gun loaded so he managed ta take down two of them in the first few seconds. I grabbed my little pistol an' began ta plug them left an' right. Dominic an' Guido both ducked into the next room to get their weapons. Meanwhile Tony an' me kept them miserable little space monkeys at bay. Tony had gotten some protection behind the table after knockin' it onto its side. I had gotten behind the wall. Dominic suddenly charged into the room sprayin' them aliens with his machine gun, an' they went down in a heap.

After we took care of the aliens in the buildin', we charged out' into the streets where we found more aliens runnin' about shootin' up the local populace. I saw the second ship, it had landed in the middle of the street to let out the invaders. I made my way towards it with another one of my special devices, while my compatriots ran towards the aliens in the street. Dominic got hit by one of their rays an' was vaporized. Guido grabbed up his machine gun in one hand, and carried his own in the other hand an' fired an' took down those aliens like the Angel of Death himself. Tony was lettin' loose a calmer barrage of death, an' picked them off one by one.

Myself, I had reached their ship by then, an' was settin' my devices inside of it. There had been an alien inside of it, but I took care of him easy enough. Then I ran like the Hounds of Hell were after me and that ship blew up like nothin' else.

An' that was how we saved New York from the aliens. Guido an' Tony had finished off the last of the aliens, an' the streets was safe again. And what thanks did we get? When the police finally showed up they arrested us for possession of illegal firearms, an' for wanton destruction of property. Thankfully the jury saw it differently, an' we was let loose. Me an' Tony got another job from Big Boss Marcone after dat, but Guido retired from the gangster business, sayin' he didn't want to have to meet another alien if he could avoid it.

Some people jus' ain't made out for this line of work.
