Complicated Dreams
Author:
Love Thyself PM
This was a dream I had once, hence the title. It started out with my love at the time and then turned into something I never want to see again.

Complicated Dreams

You touch me,
Sending shivers up spine.
And yet I shrink away from you,
Eyes wide in fear.
You reach for me,
With dripping bloody hands that turn to claws,
And I scream.
Or try to.
You have ripped the voice from my body,
And my soul from my heart.
I have nothing but the dreams,
You allow when I sleep,
Suspended on those chains of fire.
I scream,
I cry,
I die.
And then I woke up,
And I look in your shining,
Endless eyes,
I gasp,
And it starts all over again.
