Missing

Something is missing,
I feel it in my heart.
I wish to find what I have lost,
Yet I don't know where to look.

Everyone around me, believes I am content,
They are blind to the sorrow I hold inside my heart.
Without ever knowing me, people bring me pain.
Being forgotten hurts.

Something inside me is about to snap,
I can't hold my emotions in anymore.
All the pain of all these years,
It's eating at my heart.

Something is missing,
Missing from my heart.
I no longer know happiness,
To me it's just a word.
