She stood there,
with a grin upon her face,
standing there unmoving,
staring directly ahead,
nothing touched her other
then the clothes she wore
upon her, she stood there,
lost, she had lost reality
in a sea, all she saw was waves
guitar rifts, drum pounds,
voice vibrates, she stood there in
what is known as “the zone”
its a place, between reality, and fiction,
there is not war, no chaos, no nothing
just the music, even though there was a mosh
pit all around her, she stood there, smiling,
untouched by anyone it was if there was some
sort of energy or entity surrounding her, cloaking
her in an untouchable cocoon the band played on,
for hours, she stood there unmoving, for the entire show,
at the end of the show, she hadn’t been touched once,
she just stood there as the band played so many song,
she sang along silently to them in her head to
every song they played, she knew everyone by heart,
as if the vocals were transferred from their albums onto her brain,
once the concert had ended, she returned to the “real world”
the present reality, and her grin turn to a frown, for she had
lost the euphoric feeling the music gave her, she walked off
to her car, quietly humming some lyrics to a song, got into her
car, drove off, and eventually was out of sight, she just drove
off into the horizon with a grin on her face, the one curios about
this though, is the road she drove on, lead to a dead drop cliff, it
dropped 50 feet straight down, yet when some one reported
it was checked out, no car, and no body were found any
where near the clip, or the landing, the woman was never
see again, but occasionally she’s heard humming some lyrics to
a song a band wrote years ago.
