I spoon it in

Glancing at it

Needing comfort

Needing a hug

Is listening

So I settle for

Vanilla Ice Cream

In its

Purest form

I stab

The Spoon

Now a weapon

Leading to

The demise

Of the ice cream

I pause

For a moment

Then smother it in chocolate sauce
